LinkQuest Inc. recently rolled out the FlowQuest line of acoustic current profilers based on innovative acoustic Doppler technology. The FlowQuest 300 and 600 acoustic current profilers are capable of reaching up to 230 meters in range with an accuracy of up to 0.2% +/- 1 mm/s. The standard depth rating of the systems is 800 meters with options for 1500, 3000 and 6000 meters. These systems are ideal for measuring currents and flows in oceans, harbors, lakes and rivers. With their capability for significantly longer range, standard deepwater depth rating and the Data Fusion function for interfacing to multiple third-party sensors, the FlowQuest system is not just a current profiler but also serves as a focal point for underwater deployments. The FlowQuest current profilers have also been seamlessly integrated with LinkQuest's best-selling underwater acoustic modems. These modems provide a highly reliable acoustic data link for uploading data from the FlowQuest recorder or real-time monitoring of currents. Click for more FlowQuest information.

LinkQuest Inc. recently rolled out the NavQuest line of Doppler Velocity Logs based on innovative acoustic Doppler technology. The NavQuest 300 and 600 Doppler Velocity Logs are capable of reaching up to 300 meters in maximum altitude (range) with an accuracy of up to 0.2% +/- 1 mm/s. The innovative technology also achieves the smallest minimum altitude of up to 0.3 m which allows robust navigation very close to the seabed. The standard depth rating of the systems is 800 meters with options for 1500, 3000 and 6000 meters. The NavQuest Doppler Velocity Logs are ideal for precision navigation and positioning of underwater vehicles. With their capability for fast and accurate velocity output, significantly longer range, smaller minimum altitude when compared against similar products and significantly reduced cost to end users, the NavQuest Doppler Velocity Logs are excellent choices for underwater precision navigation applications. LinkQuest's TrackLink USBL systems are highly accurate and robust USBL systems based on advanced Broadband Acoustic Spread Spectrum (BASS) technology. With superior performance manifested in large number of deployments all over the world, the market acceptance of these best-selling USBL systems have been growing even stronger. In recent months, LinkQuest have sold more than a dozen of TrackLink systems to Fugro companies worldwide. Fugro Chance, Fugro UAE and Fugro Marsat in Brazil have all purchased TrackLink 1500 systems. Fugro Geonics in India has purchased four TrackLink 1500 systems within a short period of time. Several organizations in Australia, in collaboration with Fugro Survey Pty Ltd., have purchased a few TrackLink 1500 systems. Fugro Seafloor Surveys has purchased a TrackLink 5000HA systems with high speed acoustic modem function for acoustic navigation and communication of its deepwater AUV. Fugro Chance has also purchased a TrackLink 5000HA system along with the high power acoustic modem function for simultaneous tracking and real-time continuous telemetry of heading, pitch, roll, depth and load cell information in deepwater construction projects.
