NavQuest Doppler Velocity Logs have gained worldwide high popularity since their commercial launch in late 2006. In less than a year, the NavQuest DVLs, with depth rating from 800 to 7000 meters, has been sold to more than 10 countries to large organizations such as Fugro and NOAA and small university research groups alike. Applications include deepwater AUV navigation, shallow water AUV navigation, ROV station keeping, ROV velocity, altitude and current speed monitoring, manned submersible navigation, and diver navigation.

The NavQuest 600 Micro DVL is the world's smallest and lightest Doppler Velocity Log. In its standard configuration with pressure housing, NavQuest 600 Micro DVL is about 12.6 cm in diameter, 17.0 cm in length and weighs less than 1.2 kg in water. In the OEM configuration without pressure housing, the NavQuest 600 Micro DVL is about 12 cm in length and weighs less than 0.8 kg. It is by far the smallest and lightest Doppler Velocity Log in the market. With such compact build, the NavQuest 600 Micro DVL is still capable of reaching up to 110 meters in maximum altitude (range), significantly more than competing products working in similar operation frequencies. The smallest minimum altitude is up to 0.3 m which allows users to operate their submersibles much closer to the bottom than any competing DVLs working in similar frequencies.
